Sidecar Rally China is an adventurous way to drive a Chang Jiang 750 sidecar motorcycle in the most  beautiful areas in China . It is homage to China 's greatest motorcycle for the past 50 years, the Chang Jiang ( Long River ) 750 cc. (See ¡°The Bikes¡±)

This Rally is all about enjoying motorbike riding on vintage sidecar motorcycles in breathtaking sceneries. These Motorbikes gives the driver the ¡°feeling of the past¡± while cruising through mountains, forests, deserts and high plateaus on an overland adventure ride.

The Sidecar Rally concept featuring CJ 750¡äs started in January 2010 in the city of Shanghai and continued to the South-West of China, to Yunnan. From there headed further West and on to Tibet. The south of China and the tropical Island of Hainan has been covered in Winter.

The starting locations for further rides are now in Lhasa ( Tibet ), Lijiang ( Yunnan ), Sanya (Hainan) and Shanghai.

To offer the Motorcycle Enthusiast in the World the ¡°Best of the Best¡± Sidecar Rally China tailored several Stages in these areas.

The Tour Data, when is which Tour you can find under ¡°The Stages¡±

The Team leaders from Sidecar Rally China have many years of riding experience in China. They are foreigners who have resided in China for many years. They speak Chinese, are familiar with local customs and have some ¡±Know How¡± to keep those classic Motorbikes moving.

Anybody who has a Chinese ¡°D¡± driver endorsement ( License for Motorbikes with Sidecar ) can join the Rally as a driver.

For riders with a motorcycle license or endorsement in their home country who do not have a Chinese license or motorcycle endorsement we can arrange a temporary Chinese driving license. You then have the ability to join a Stage as a rider. (More Info about how to get a Chinese License based on request.) Participants with no Motorbike License may join as a Passenger in the Sidecar.

Participants can ride one of our Rally Bikes (See ¡°The Bikes¡±) or you may sign up with your own bike. Transportation for your personal bike to and from the destination can be arranged.
